Foiled again!
I have not been getting much poker in lately because of the Ireland trip planning. The flights were booked yesterday, so I planned on playing an hour of poker when I got home from work. Six hands into my game, my sister calls. Two hands later I realize I can’t do both and sit out. Forty minutes later I leave the table, since my hour is close to up. I know why all the other poker bloggers play full time. Its the only way to get any playing time.
At least there is a funny side to the story. My sister has two boys, 5 and 2. She wasn’t planning on having children, she married late and her husband had two children in their teens, so it seemed like that plan was going to stick. Two mistakes later she is advocating the benefits of children to me, over the phone. While on the phone, she is asked questions, locked out of the boys room, almost locked in the boys room, sends the oldest to his room for attacking the youngest, consoles the youngest after his injury, tells me you don’t miss your weekends free, naps, peace and quiet.
I am sold! As soon as Brook gets home, I am going to tell her I want a whole litter of kids. Twins run in her family, so she can pop them out two at a time. Lets get birthing.
