Self Entertainment
I am not very good at entertaining myself. Having nothing planned to accomplish this weekend, I have done nothing.
Here are my failed attempts at doing something this weekend.
- Played the one stage available in the Age of Empires demo, many times.
- Read the first 8 pages of Technical Analysis Explained by Martin Pring (600 page technical book)
- Read lots of blogs
- Did some online used car shopping (I am not in the market for a car, new or used)
- Did some online condo shopping for million dollar downtown condos (I can’t afford a million dollar anything)
- Surfed for a better place to buy wine, and found out that I already shop at the best places.
On top of that, I have spent a long time staring out the window, staring at the computer and staring off into space, contemplating what I want to do.
Now, at 6pm I am playing racketball. This forces a timeline on the rest of my day and the next six hours will be the most productive and enjoyable of my weekend. I suck at unstructured, so I need to impose more planning into my weekends and will start doing so.
Lets see if I can finish the first chapter of Pring.
