I heart Taxes
You will have to forgive me, but I am horrible speller.
New finance section. I have a renewed interest in all things money, as well as the desire to live, after departing my previous employment. On top of that, I have just finished my taxes, and I have a renewed interest in tax avoidance and deferance.
The tax code is never simple, so of course the 15% dividend tax rate is only for qualified dividends. That means… I have no idea, I just know that QBrain dividends are 97% non-qualified, so they come off the top.
So look forward to the inner workings of the Swiss banking system, currency trading via the Isle of Mann and holdings companies based in the Cayman’s.
Or more likely, how to determine which securities or funds to hold in tax sheltered accounts and which to hold in taxable accounts.
