Waiting for the blinds, don’t do it.
Why is it, when you need to stop, and you wait for the blinds to come back around, you only loose money during that time. My new rule is, if I am up and I need to leave, then I will get up immediately. Two of the three sessions I have played yesterday and today, I was up, I had something else to do, so I waited for the blinds and left the table. But each time, I left the table 5 to 7 dollars lighter than when I decided to get up. I am not playing for raked hands right now, so I don’t think there is a reason to stay.
I am sure the answer is on 2+2 somewhere. Probably with stats to back it up.
Also, I suck headsup. Avoiding headsup play would definately be +EV. Time to break out poker academy and practice. I was sitting at a .50/1 table that dropped down to just one other player. “Great, I can get some cheap heads up practice.” Ten minutes and $20 later, it wasn’t that cheap.
