I have been studying during the week, as planned. Party has another bonus going on that I found out about today, and I signed up, of course, but only for half of it, so 700 hands to clear. That should be much less stressful and much more profitable. 107 hands down, and the studying has helped, my postflop play has obviously improved some. Still needs a lot of work, and there is plenty left to learn. The bonus has to be cleared by Sunday, around noon, and with Brook working Saturday, that should be an easy task.
One really insteresting story. I sat down at a table, paid the blind to play from the cutoff, and was dealt 52o. No raises to me, so I see the flop, 552. Its checked around and I check keeping 4 players. A 4 falls, check, bet, call, I raise, fold, reraise, call, I cap, two callers. The 3 falls, betting gets capped again, so it looks like the other two hit there straight, but I pull a $53+ pot.
It doesn’t stop there. After only 36 hands and winning 33% of them, everyone has left the table and I am up over $100 in about 15 minutes.
Going back to normal cards was boring after that, thus this break to update the blog.
