Poker on Princess Cruises

Good news. Princess has added low limit poker to their casino line up. $2/$4, $3/$6 and $4/$8 are availible in theory. When the casino was busy there were usually two games of $2/$4 going on, but rarely anything else. This probably had a lot to do with the crowd on the [...]

Packing for the Cruise

Packing for a cruise is just like packing for any other long vacation. This is what I have learned from three previous cruises.
Don’t try to fit everything in one suit case. It can be done, it seems easier to deal with, but its not. The weight limit on suitcases that [...]

Expanding the Library

Theory of Poker and Super System are on the way here from Amazon. Theory of Poker is definately going on the cruise with me, but I am not sure about Super System. Its is quite thick.
Sorry about the lack of poker updates. I am back to books, learning about how to play [...]

Two Doughnuts

I had two large cinnamon roll doughnuts for lunch yesterday while I was working at my fathers house. This probably slowed me down quite a bit during practice today. I just didn’t feel like I could go fast. Usually Monday isn’t my best practice, so the doughnuts might not be the problem.
Last week [...]

Blogger war

A small blog war has broken out between Iggy and Taylor. It is humorous and makes no sense to me whatsoever.
I wish that Taylor would update a with a little more detail on the poker front. Her blog had things like bankrolls, winnings, games and hands played. Great information that most poker [...]

Poki kicked my…

I went back to normal play in Poki, vs just dealing the top 25% of hands. Poki promptly kicked my ass, taking $1000 in $10/$20 poker in 226 hands. Thats rather depressing. Thats a good indicator that I might need to hold off on playing for money for a while.

5000 yards

Today was the first practice where I hit 5,000 yards. In theory, this shouldn’t be that big of a deal. Swimming 5,000 yards in 75 minutes requires an average 100 time of 1:30, including all rest. Maintaining a 1:30 average is diffcult because our practices are usually very mixed. If a [...]

AOLserver

I havn’t posted in a while and I thought I would write a small post about AOLserver. AOLserver is like Apache gone wrong. For the most part it totally lacks any redeeming features that would make it a superior development platform, or even a plain old webserver, then anything else out there.
Now that [...]

My blog is about opposites

I am good at swimming, but I suck at poker.
I was so pissed off after playing today, I left in the middle of a hand. That was probably the best play I made today.
Bankroll: -$249

Nutrition approved

My entire nutrition plan has been approved. You know what that means. Its time for some math.
I did the math, and then I got worried. Not only do I have to eat a large breakfast, on days that it swim, I have to eat a huge breakfast. I need to eat [...]
