Konqueror
So firefox crashed again. I really hate the mozilla development team. Its all about the features. Stability is second. Always. Since the beginning.
So I installed Konqueror, which I used between Netscape 4.7 and Mozilla 0.9 to see how its doing. I have to say, it seems nicer than firefox at this point. I guess Apple checked in some things. Better fonts, better buttons. Lets see how often it crashes and what plugins work.
Anyway, for you linux users out there who are getting sick of firefox sucking, check it out.
Just as a benchmark, I have 10 tabs open, and konq is using under 20 meg, as far as I can tell. I am logged into the work websites, to konq is good to go until I find a huge fault with it.
I really appreciate everything that they have done, and firefox is great on windows. But it really pisses me off that I can have 10 tabs open and click on a link, locking up or crashing firefox. Oh well, firefox has really helped with my memory skills, since I have to recall what those 10 tabs were.
Ok, I am done ranting. Konq is looking good. Take a look.
